Businessman and financial expert, Mr. Mohammed Sharif Hamad Al-Shirawi, affirmed that the general state budget adopted by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the country, meets the requirements of the national economy and the citizens. It reflects His Highness’s keenness on the welfare of the citizens and all those living in this blessed land. This is evident through the allocation of funds for the development and expansion of the health, education, infrastructure, and business sectors, which underscores the government’s commitment to its comprehensive human development plans and its strategy for sustainable development. The enhanced performance of the country’s service sectors will have a positive impact on the overall quality of life for both citizens and residents.
Al-Shirawi added: The allocated budget also demonstrates our prudent leadership’s dedication to accomplishing major projects by continuing government spending that supports the execution of large-scale projects to achieve Qatar’s National Vision 2030. It includes provisions for new projects serving various sectors and monitoring the progress of key government projects under development, as well as those related to the 2022 World Cup, which supports the activities and roles of the private sector. The government has opened up opportunities for the private sector to contribute to developing its projects, ensuring the continuity of the economic wheel.
